The majority of the course is outside of the pastures in fields and woods but there are also jumps through the pasture fence lines and in and out of the ring to the fields. The course is very horse friendly and is geared toward progressively educating your green horse or rider. Many of the jumps are adjustable in height. We have courses from Elementary through Training Level Eventing with a few higher fences. Jump heights range from approximately 1’ to 3’9”. You may school with your coach or ground person or take lessons with Earlen (with no schooling fees)
The course consists of: bank jump, stream crossing, coffin, trakehner, hogs back, coops, log piles, gates, snake fence, roll top, single logs, railroad ties, brush piles, etc.
Lots of variations can be made on the course to suit your horse/rider needs. For instance some logs are very small, only about 1’ high. Some coops are 18” but can have rails added to make them about 3’3”. Coops can be slid forward or back to have a landing on level ground or a downhill landing. The course is set up to be able to progressively educate your horse.
Bank can be jumped off the front (2’ drop) or across the bank (1’ to 2’).
Coop can be moved forward to have drop into field on one side.
Mound is available to teach balance going up and down hills without a jump or place the portable @ the beginning, middle or end of the mound.
Stream can have portable jump added.
Trakehner with ditch on one side. Can jump in both directions.

Certain distances have been measured on 2 galloping paths (one long, one short) so riders can practice different cross country speeds. You can pick up an information sheet stating how long it should take you to gallop at various meters per minute to develop a feel for your galloping time.

To school in our 150’ x 250’ ring with filter fabric, granite stone dust base (95% + compaction) with washed sand, either for dressage (arena can be large or small) or for stadium/hunter jumps (including Liverpool if desired).

If combining the ring schooling with the xc schooling.
